Recently, out of the blue, Facebook permanently banned our main Business Page from running ads. Our ads account is still active and we can run ads from any other page, just not our main page. They stated we went against their advertising policies but told us that they couldn’t tell us what policy we broke and why. We’ve been running ads on Facebook since 2014 and have never run into this issue before. We work closely with their “Meta Experts” who regularly review our campaigns, so you’d assume they would be aware of any policy we may be breaking. We did not have any ads rejected prior to the ban. Has this happened to you? I have connected with 4 other B2B businesses that this has happened to in the last few weeks. None of them were given a reason why nor a notice or warning. Additionally, we have noticed diminishing results in our campaigns over the past 2 years. We expected it, but as we have always relied on 1st party data anyways, we didn’t think the quality of results would chan

I am considering what I can only call “the nuclear option.”An opportunity has arisen, allowing me to pursue an extremely affordable education from a reputable college. A quick synopsis/pretext to my question for you:I can pursue an MBA with a Marketing Analytics concentration. Or… I can pursue a Masters in Data Science. Or… I stick with my current educational methods: YouTube, Skillshop, Meta, Sprout, LinkedIn Learning and CXL. Or... I stop fixating on education (aka “staying in my lane”). Like many of you, I am a one person Social Media and Copywriting department. I currently use almost all of Sprout’s tools along with SpyFu to automate the research side of my job, so I might be more reactive to our fans/followers and plan future campaigns. In may ways, sprout takes the bricks out of the briefcase. My desire for education stems from a strong need to help bridge the informational gap many of us face: marketing’s often vague relationship to revenue, as I don’t have a “buy” button at the
Has anyone had issues with boosted posts not delivering at all? The ad is approved and active, but no engagement or budget spent. This has happened with the last three posts I tried boosting. FB support provided no help - they directed me to an article that was not useful. Below is a screenshot.

Personally, I’m a big fan of repurposing top evergreen content on a weekly/monthly basis depending on the channel (especially when Sprout’s Send Again feature in the Post Performance Report makes it so easy!) but I’m interested to see if this is still a tactic our community members are leveraging. If you aren’t doing it, why/why not? If you are doing it, what’s your cadence for repurposing content? Are you doing it across all channels or specific ones?

I have started scheduling stories for Instagram and sometimes Facebook. I noticed when I post, no documented content stays in the Sprout calendar. I assume any data that results from posting to stories is lost in Sprout? Assuming this is correct, I must now natively collect data from Instagram and Facebook?Just looking for a confirmation. Could be beneficial for Sprout to negotiate some way to track social story data as well. Thanks! -Riana

Good morning all -We are an athletic club located in Greenwood Village, Denver, Colorado and are curious as to how other teams are approaching the topic of having a Business Account or Creator Account when it comes to social media, Instagram specifically. As we move in to the space of creating more video driven content such as Reels, the limited song/sound library for a business account seems to minimize our potential reach within the platform. How are other teams pivoting or working around this that are using business accounts? Is it worth the switch just for the reach potential? Any additional information or insight is greatly appreciated!Thank you all!
Hi! We recently had a few of our Google My Business profiles suspended. We haven’t made any changes, so I’m not sure why they got suspended. In order to submit a ticket to Google for any type of help or reconsideration, you must include the profile URL. However, the profile URL is unavailable on suspended accounts. So I’m stuck, unable to get any help on this. Has anyone experienced this before or have any advice? Thanks!
“You can assemble your brand’s content creation force in multiple ways. Each offers a distinct complement of pros, cons, and practical considerations. To determine the best contributor model – and decide whether to use it in combination with other approaches – weigh factors like the nature of your business, your content competition, expertise your content requires, and team and budget resources.” -- Content Marketing InstituteClick here to view models.

Hi everyone! For those who are actively social monitoring, when a commenter tags another in their comment, do you respond to those comments? I’m fairly new in the monitoring realm of social (previously was working heavily in content creation, not monitoring) so I’d love to hear some insights. Part of me doesn’t want to interject two (or three) commenter’s conversations amongst our post, but I also want to acknowledge their comment. TIA!
Hi everyone, looking to pick someone's brain. I'm in the process of getting a new client in the Biotech industry specifically in Medical Equipment Manufacturing. I work at an agency so I have no control over who my agency takes on as new clients. I would love to discuss with someone who has worked in this industry before about LinkedIn. Thanks in advance. Or if you have any articles about this industry and social media, I'll accept any and all links. Thank you!
