Hi friends! Unfortunately, I’m here with another “why does Facebook Business Manager hate us all” post :(Our web team has been trying to link our Facebook Ad Pixel to our Shopify site for a hot minute with no success. Despite having all page permissions on the Facebook account, we receive a “you don’t have the permissions for this” error message every time we attempt to link them. I have tried as the Facebook account owner, had the Shopify account owner try, and a few other team members who have access to both platforms but no one can make it work. Unfortunately, Facebook does not have a responsive support team and we’ve followed their online “help” guide to no avail. Any tips on how to link Facebook Pixels to Shopify would be greatly appreciated! Or if you have the secret on how to get FB on the phone, I’ll take that too. Thanks in advance!

I love reviewing all the data that comes with social media. However, I am spending way too much time building my monthly report that I share with management. I’ve been tweaking a powerpoint presentation for the past year that I enter all the data from SproutSocial into. Granted, I get way too into the weeds when it comes to making my reports look fancy (I’m a designer..what do you expect?) but I am curious what others are doing to present all this great data in a “pretty” way.

Despite our efforts, we seem to be struggling to generate engaging content consistently. Our posts lack cohesion, and we're not seeing the level of audience engagement we hoped for.Steps I've taken:Conducted audience research: We've analyzed our audience demographics and interests to tailor our content accordingly. Developed a content calendar: We've created a content calendar outlining our posting schedule and themes. Utilized social media management tools: We've invested in tools like Sprout Social to streamline our content creation and scheduling process.

Hey everyone! With the recent upcoming changes for Facebook and reporting on page-level metrics that I think many people use, are there any suggestions of what if anything will replace these metrics?

There's apparently a visible alt text badge on Threads now, but you have to turn it on.Head to your profile, tap the two lines above your profile picture, click Settings, then Accessibility, and then you'll see an option for "show alt text" with a toggle next to it. Toggle it on and an alt text label will appear on images that have alt text.From the looks of it, the alt text badge is only visible on images that have alt text added to them AND if you click into a specific post. You won’t see any alt text badges on your feed, which is just weird.Please note that not everyone has access to this feature yet. You should also remember that not everyone (including myself) has access to the alt text field on Threads yet, so some folks may be writing image descriptions directly in their posts instead, so an alt text badge wouldn’t show up on their images despite them taking the steps to make their content accessible.

I'm reaching out to seek some insights regarding our YouTube channel strategy, and I'd love to hear your thoughts. To give you a bit of context, we recently created and published several product videos on our YouTube channel. These videos explain the features and applications of our autonomous robots and currently live in an "About Starship Robots" playlist. While these videos were initially in English, we've expanded their accessibility by adding versions with Audio Descriptions and ASL overlay (separated into a playlist called, ‘Audio Description: About Starship Robots’), and, now, we’re starting translations for new markets. Here's where I'm facing a dilemma. With multiple versions of the same video, organizing them into playlists has become a bit challenging. Hi guys,Ok, I need some help pulling some data. Basically, our team is trying to decide if it’s worth it to eat the processing fee (2.9% for us) that Meta will begin requiring in order to operate a facebook/instagram shop on April 24th. I have been tasked with researching the value of keeping our Facebook/Instagram shops, and I’m trying to pull some data on how many times our “tagged products” from posts were actually clicked on. This is proving difficult because Meta has recently disabled the product tagging feature to anyone who hasn’t “upgraded” their shops. Does anyone know how to get this metric?  Additionally, curious to know if anyone else is in the same situation. If so, what type of business do you work for/own and how did you make your decision to keep or to close your Facebook/IG shop?

Hello! As I was scrolling through my FYP last night, I came upon a Tik Tok mentioning that Universal Music will be pulling all of there artist’s music from the app. Was wondering about a few things after hearing this: How is this going to affect the videos that are already published on the platform with a sound that involves these artists? Will the audio be removed?  How are other companies going about this if audio is removed? Would it be best to republish some of that video with a new audio, or will the algorithm work against us? Thanks all! 

Hi everyone,Right now I lead the social program for a global company. Our strategy and focus is mostly North America focused, but we have some content sprinkled throughout for other regions in Latin America and EMEA. The content comes from team members in those regions and geotargeted to those specific regions in their language. But those regions also see the English version of our content that goes out globally.We’ve been getting requests to create pages dedicated to each of the regions (ex: ABC Company - Europe, ABC Company - Italy, ABC Company - Brazil) vs. using a global profile. I’ve seen this done before but haven’t done it myself, and I’m not sure what the pros/cons are.Does anybody manage a global social program? Hello! Furthermore the reports on clicks and additional analysis of UTMs that we currently do, I would like to detect how our social media interactions with potential customers influence our pipeline. For example, if we receive a comment on LinkedIn in a post, and that person is a partner or potential customerCan Sprout tell they are a partner? Is that a KPI I can report on using the tool?Connecting Hubspot wasn’t useful because it’s more geared toward the Service module(tickets), that’s not our type of org. Any best practices or knowledge you can share is useful! Hi social friends! I have a Restaurant client who is dead-set on understanding his return on investing in organic social/ social at all. I’ve talked about EMV equations or leveraging influencers to look at their EMV or using affiliate codes that can be redeemed in-store. Any other ideas to get him to invest? I’ve tried all the ways in of educating and the necessity for this more top of funnel tactic which leads to consideration > loyalty > advocacy, but if it doesn’t equate to sales he just doesn’t get it. Any help is appreciated!M

Looking for insight from those who have worked on social reports on events they host with different artists/performers  Traditional reporting/benchmarking is not as effective due to content related to certain popular artists/performers naturally getting more engagement than others. Looking for advice on how to guide content strategy best when post differentiators may just be due to artist. What would be the best way to analyze what types of content (different color backgrounds, visual elements, audio elements, etc.) would truly perform best prior to a performance?
