A few days ago I noticed the link preview on LinkedIn has a new format when a post is published. In Sprout the draft show as the original formatting, so I’m wondering if this is a LinkedIn update. Is anyone else seeing this? It’s not just with our posts but I’m noticing it across the platform. Screenshot of an example I found.  

A success story through social media management for me is I worked for a nonprofit for two years. They hadn’t really had anyone that was well-versed in social media before and didn’t put a lot of effort or strategy behind anything they did. When I came on, I really pushed the envelope of doing trends, staying “in the know” and strategizing with a variety of goals. Once I left, I had increased their social media engagement 95% from the previous two years! It was a great validation as a young digital marketer to know, “hey, maybe I DO know what i’m doing”! 

Do you ever use Reddit to share links to B2B social posts that link out to blog content?I’m a B2B marketer and we do a lot of leveraging LinkedIn groups to get our posts in front of the right sets of eyes. This is pretty effective for us. But I don’t want to be solely relying on LinkedIn groups. I’d like to also leverage Reddit and potentially also Discord groups as well.  Definitely important to abide by community rules for those channels. And only promote in spots where promotion is allowed. But, say, I have a GRC Guide - a great place to share that is in a group of GRC professionals. It’s the right set of eyes for the piece of content. And it’s a good opportunity to bring new followers to our page at the same time. Just joined Reddit recently and I’m trying to find the best way to use it as a vehicle to get our posts in front of the right eyes. I am trying to assign an employee to one of our Facebook pages but they aren’t receiving the invite to join our account. Has anyone had this issue before? They have their email notifications turned on, it's not in their junk inbox… so I have no clue why they aren’t receiving the invite to join. Thanks!

Our social team has been hearing about a new app called Flip app. Anyone have any experience yet with it? Seems like there’s some opportunity for retail brands. Would love to discuss!  

Hi all, I’m having some trouble getting an employee access to our Facebook page. I’ve set them up through our business account with their email, they received the invite to join the page and they got through. However, the page isn't showing up when they log into their personal page under Profile or Pages. They have full control of the page, so I’m not sure what else I need to do to get the page to show up. They even went back to the email invite and it says they have already accepted it and redirects them back to Facebook. Any advice? Thanks!

Our company is undergoing a massive split meaning our 2 primary FB/Meta pages need to be on 2 different business accounts. Is there a way I can transfer/move a FB page to a new business account? I am not finding a lot out there on this! Or getting support help from Meta. 

Do any online publishers use Reddit ads to create engaging conversations with their audience? We are an automotive website that see a lot conversations already happening about our articles and topics so think it would be a good opportunity to engage with our audience.

My agency developed a Frequently Asked Questions message to streamline traffic, but we've observed that it's only visible on desktop. Despite having all settings enabled, it doesn't display on mobile devices.For those who utilize the Frequently Asked Questions message feature, does it appear on mobile for you? If so, what steps did you take to make it visible?

At the moment, in the Service Console in Salesforce, whenever the same customer sends a message via different channels (like, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,...), a new case is created for the different channels. Can we think about a way of linking them?Can we use the social persona object for this?

Just dealt with a terrible bout of bots attacking one of my client’s pages. We were running an engagement-based giveaway and bots started responding to comments as my client profile (imposters, obvi) and requesting bank info, which some people actually gave away. We had included how we would contact winners in the original post, and explicitly said we would DM winners, but people still fell prey to scams.  Does anyone have ideas on how to keep bots from a page? We instituted a “must follow for 24 hours” before commenting rule on the page, but that's the only tactic we have found thus far.  All insight is appreciated! 

Hi! I manage 250+ Facebook pages for our multiple locations. Does anyone know how I can update the profile pictures for all these pages in bulk? I used do it with out old listings provider Yext, but now I use RioSEO and they do not manage photos.  Thank you for your help!!

I’m really curious if anyone else is experiencing this problem with Facebook! Our page has been inundated with spam reviews. They’re all from different spammy accounts, all for crypto (we’re a leadership development nonprofit, so that’s wildly off-topic), and they all have a strong MLM flavor. These are positive reviews, but unhelpful and make it harder for people to find legitimate testimonials about our organization. Has anyone else dealt with an enduring stream of spam reviews? How did you handle it? I report each one as spam and ban the user, but it’s been such a consistent issue for us that I imagine other social media managers must be getting swarmed as well.

There are a lot of changes happening over on Twitter/X, and our digital team is definitely trying to keep up. While we only have a few clients that are active on the platform, we want to figure out how to approach these rapid changes when it feels like it’s just so volatile and something new is happening every other week.Has anyone considered pausing activity on Twitter/X for themselves or for a client? What are the recommendations others have given when it comes to handling this platform? Did anyone go as far as deactivating completely? 👀Thanks in advance for any insights!

I heard recently that Meta is blocking/censoring content from news outlets in Canada, which is lowering engagements and stopping vital information from being distributed in some cases. Any additional information on why this is happening or best practices to avoid being censored? Would love to hear feedback

On our website at Azusa Pacific University, we have several pages with links saying “Follow us on Twitter.” Since Twitter is now officially known as X, we changed the logo from the bird to the X logo, but debated whether we should say “Follow us on X” or “X account” for various department Twitter accounts. What are your thoughts on this? Is it best to still use the word Twitter with the X logo or to use the X logo with the name X next to it? Thank you!

For those who have made a Threads account for your brands: Have you noticed that there are friend requests that Threads requires you to confirm even though your account is public? We have a ton that seemed to have come through before we made an account, and now we have to confirm individually 🙃

Since launch, I've been tracking some of the biggest brands to create a meta analysis for Threads. This chart doesn't represent all of the brands in my meta group, but it shows a few key trends:1️⃣ Most brands saw a 40-50% increase of following over the weekend2️⃣ Most brands are receiving around 7% of their current Instagram follow3️⃣ It's split 50/50 with brands creating specific content for Threads vs. reusing content from other platforms4️⃣ Brands that are using an irreverent tone of voice are performing better by engagement rate vs. brands sticking to messagingStill a lot more to learn, but I'll be sure to keep collecting data as things unfold.What would you like to know about Threads?
