Facebook Pages Missing 'Stores' Tab

Hello everyone! I was on Facebook.com reviewing content when I realized my pages are missing the Stores tab! I manage three brands with over 260 locations -- all brand and location pages are missing the Stores tab. I immediately went into my settings to see if I had accidentally turned it off, but the Stores did not appear as an option in the template we are using. I reviewed different templates (Business, Shopping) to see if it was a template issue, but no template Facebook offered had the Stores tab.My coworker discovered other major brands like McDonalds are also missing the Stores tab. I tried looking through Meta’s platform, social media outlets like Social Media Today, and general news outlets to see if there was some type of explanation, but found nothing!Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening, when this will be fixed, and where we can keep track of this issue on Meta’s platform?  Thanks!

New article format on Twitter?

A question and a comment -- has anyone else seen this format on Twitter desktop for news articles? So far, I’ve only noticed it with a few New York Times articles. It really emphasizes the image, and I think it looks cool! If anyone knows more about this, or has seen any news about a larger rollout, please let me know. :)

Random spikes in LinkedIn followers?

I manage 5 LinkedIn pages and all follower charts every month look like this and I have no idea why. I checked on LinkedIn and all the growth is organic, not sponsored. So why is it fluctuating so much? Has anyone else come across this? At first, I thought it was because of a particular post, but some of the days we get the biggest spike we don’t have any posts going out.

Instagram Tests Moving Every Video to Reels

Happy Tuesday all! I was wondering everyone’s thoughts on the recent news about Instagram rolling out tests for replacing all videos with Reels?Will this impact the video content you want/have scheduled to push out on the platform? Will adjusting your video content from horizontal to vertical present challenges, especially if your content is produced by a media/video department?  If the change becomes a permanent fixture of Instagram, how will Sprout adapt to the changes? Will publishing all videos to “Reels” solely become an on-platform operation? It wasn’t stated in any of the articles, but how will videos already on the platform be converted into Reels, or will they simply grandfather in that content?Anyway, I’m appreciative of any and all insights this community has to offer on this topic. It would be an interesting change for sure.

How to set Facebook Root Admin?

Facebook changed the structure of their Global Pages so that now there is a “Root Page” and a Root Admin that controls everything. Before, as admin of the Default page, I could publish and unpublish new pages, but now I can’t. I cannot find this Root Admin thing and I need to unpublish 2 of our accounts.Can anyone help me find it?

Social Media Verification

Hi all! I have requested verification for my organization, a well-known music conservatory with lots of press that I believe is definitely worthy of the check mark, but keep getting declined. Does anyone have any idea why, and any advice on what I can do? Is there a way to get in contact with an actual person at Facebook to have a conversation about this? Help Needed: Sunsetting Brand Social Accounts

Question: How do you conduct a mass-sunset of brand social media profiles w/out evoking confusion/hysteria from followers? Context: Our organization has agreed it is time to mass-sunset a series of social media accounts (currently 114 social media profiles hopefully going down to roughly 60 before the EOY) that were created over the years by numerous dept.’s/teams. These profiles have already been determined to be sunset as they do not serve the brand in any way. Many of them have followers but have not been regularly posted on. These social profiles support an overall brand, but are not the umbrella brand themselves. Thoughts? Ideas? Questions?

Facebook Account ownership issue - Inherited accounts

Hi All,I’m looking to see if anyone has ever had the issue where one of the business pages they’ve inherited is owned by an account you don’t have access to? I’m an admin on the page, but it’s giving me issues with syncing our instagram, because it says I need an admin from the account that owns the page to approve.We’ve sent a request but it’s quite possible all the accounts associated with the account that owns the page are dormant or no longer active. Curious if anyone’s had an issue like this, or any suggestions on how to resolve?

TikTok changes

We had major success with my business on Tiktok-hitting 200k views a WEEK. However, now-within the past 4 weeks- it has gone completely flat. We are lucky if we get 1,000 views per video. And we have changed NOTHING! Still using viral hashtags, posting at the right times, following the trends, etc. Has anyone else gone through this? Did the algorithm drastically change? ANY advice or information will help. Thanks!

There is even a Small Business Center.There are so many great 5 minute tutorials that I ultimately spent a little too much time on TikTok over the past hour of my workday. Facebook Organic Carousels

Is anyone else experiencing issues with organic carousels on Facebook? When we create an organic carousel through the Page Posts feature on Business Manager, images from the website link pulls through into the carousel once it is published instead of the images which we uploaded. It is very odd because this only happens when we use our website links, but when we use external links the carousel publishes perfectly. We’ve reached out to Facebook Support but they have no managed to resolved this issue.
